We utilise a principles-based investment process which not only delivers on economic goals but which also has a powerful social purpose and impact within Sub-Saharan Africa & SE Asia.● Lead and manage all firm activities of the investment manager and fund arrangements including development of initial and ongoing business plans, development of regulatory manuals, systems & controls, and outsourced documentation/arrangements (administrator, custodial & KYC). ● Manage and direct firm’s team of C-Level and Director level employees including Operations, Human Resources, Accounting, Compliance & Projects● Oversee firm’s relationship with international and local professional teams (Clifford Chance, DLA Piper, Al Tamimi), Internal Auditors (PwC), Banking Relationships (Commercial Bank / HSBC / Standard Chartered) & external auditors/tax teams (Ernst & Young)● Accountable for regulatory compliance, systems and controls, and financial oversight. ● Firm projected to manage AUM over US$ 1 billion by 2021 with exposure to West Africa, Southern Africa and Southeast Asia. ● Serve on the investment committee as part of the firm’s investment oversight structure. ● Serve as Director and Senior Executive Function for General Partner (GP) of firm’s initial regulated fund, Sanguine Infrastructure Protect Fund LP, and GP Commitment of US$ 100 million. ● Regularly work with and present to multi-lateral banks (Development Finance Corporation, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, World Bank, etc.) about firm investment opportunities and project developments.● Work closely with government leaders in the United States (State Department/Ambassadors, United Nations Ambassador, Congress) to explore mutual development and international goals, especially in relationship to climate-based initiatives.
