Tyler McNab has been working in the Land Use industry since 2009 starting as a Development Manager for a small family Development Company and moving toward Municipal Planning & Development with Woodlands County in 2015. Tyler quickly became an integral part of the Municipal sector while keeping his background as a private developer as a tool to ensure the best customer service possible with an eye for ensuring the Development Processes are completed in a mutually beneficial way between developers and the municipality. Currently Tyler is Program Lead of Development & Safety Codes for Sturgeon County. Tyler continues to casually consult in the land development and recreation industry on a variety of recreational and rural residential development projects. Tyler’s experience in recreational development, recreational operations, residential subdivision, and rural and urban municipal planning sectors gives him a well-rounded appreciation for most projects with an eye on ensuring the entire project works toward the end operational goals. Additionally, Tyler is a member (former director) on the Alberta Development Officers Association (ADOA), and a director on the Parks and Campgrounds Owners’ Association of Alberta (PCOAA), and is currently working toward becoming a Registered Professional Planner. Outside of the professional field, Tyler has been an officer with the Canadian Forces - Cadet Organisations Administration and Training Service since 2006 and enjoys spending time training cadets’ skills especially in leadership, citizenship, and survival.
