I am a proud graduate of Quinnipiac University. I graduated as a public relations major with a minor in management. 2. The courses I took during my undergraduate career have prepared me to step in the public relations field by placing me in agency style settings, emphasizing the importance of crisis communications, and implanting the foundation of public relations in my work ethic. 3. At my graduation, I was selected as the student speaker where I was able to address my class. I was chosen after a multi-step application and audition process by a selection committee which included all of the deans of the School of Communications. This was arguably my favorite moment as a student where I was able to tell my story while showcasing my public speaking skills to hundreds of students, faculty and staff, and family members. My highest achievement was becoming president of the Student Programming Board (SPB), the main events organization on campus. Before I stepped into this role, I was the Vice President of Membership, Travel Chair, and a Director for the annual St. Baldrick's event. As president, I oversaw 12 executive board members who planned weekly meetings, at least 3 events each week which totaled over 50 events each semester. These events were all planned during the COVID-19 pandemic, where policies and procedures could be changed at a moment's notice. In addition, I attended or ran at least five meetings weekly with advisors and other executive board members, worked directly with the school's Chief Experience Officer and Dean of Students to ensure programming throughout the year, served as the liaison between the executive board and administration, and monitored a budget of over $400,000.5. For my work with SPB, I was awarded the "Member of the Year Award". This is Quinnipiac's highest individual honors as it recognizes a student "who has unselfishly dedicated her/his energy and enthusiasm to the growth and stability of the organization/group. This individual demonstrates leadership qualities and positively contributes to the purpose of the organization/group with their time, talent, creativity, and effort."6. I am a passionate individual who will give my all to a position and do it with enthusiasm and excitement. "If you love what you do. You'll never work a day in your life."
