Since graduating in 2013 I've worked at Google in NYC. In that time I worked in Search for several years before transitioning to work in Google Cloud. My projects in those product areas have been pretty different, exposing me to a variety of technologies and ways of releasing software to different audiences.My current team in Cloud produces the On-Demand Scanning, Container Analysis, and Container Scanning APIs, which provide vulnerability information for container images that customers store in the Google Container Registry and Artifact Registry. As a customer-facing team, my work recently has focused on stability, scalability, implementing horizontals, and providing on-call support.Formerly at Google I worked in Search, writing internal tools for Search feature developers. My team wrote a suite of tools to "score" a change in Search, incorporating diffs, regressions, and losses, which is used in making a decision on whether or not to launch a feature.For college, I got two bachelor's degrees: Computer Science and Mathematics. Perhaps more interesting is my minor in Terrorism Studies, a minor which I have not had any opportunity to use professionally.
