Pitched story ideas for reporting, read wires for breaking news, stacked shows, wrote scripts for anchors, wrote teases and promos, worked with editors to find the best video possible, listened to police scanners, and called law enforcement agencies for information, became very comfortable with ENPS, organized live shots, timed shows, and was sent out on stories with photographers to get sound bites.
