Responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of over 50 residents as well as cultivating a residential community and being a point of contact for support and solutions. Primary responsibilities include monthly educational bulletin boards in line with Residential Education Curriculum, assisting with the creation of new educational curriculum for use in future academic terms, passing new information and opportunities on to residents, conducting roommate mediations, and working “on duty” shifts tending to various situations around campus. Also selected to be a member of the STAR program to advise in the RA selection/hiring process and provide mentorship to first-year RAs.
