My passion for understanding how things work started early—unscrewing NERF guns and RC cars as a kid. Early in my journey, I enrolled in community college and worked as a bike mechanic, becoming known as the "E-Bike wizard." This role sparked my interest in how technology can empower users, something I carried with me while studying engineering at JMU. There, I contributed to HCI research, developing a haptic feedback glove to assist physical therapy patients—cementing my dedication to creating impactful, user-centered technology.Having learned how to build things, I wanted to figure out what to build and why. At CMU's MHCI program, I honed my skills in end-to-end product development—from research and testing to prototyping, building, and deploying—supporting my goal of creating meaningful user experiences. Today, I’m proud to have the ability to develop products from the ground up, whether they’re physical goods or software experiences.I have experience developing electrical systems, hardware solutions, and AI-powered interfaces across industries such as critical infrastructure, transportation, education, and healthcare, with a strong foundation in human-computer interaction. Skilled in prototyping, programming, and user-centered design, I drive product improvements through hands-on research and development, focusing on creating impactful, user-driven solutions.I believe strong businesses are built on strong products. I'm passionate about empowering businesses to deliver exceptional products by prioritizing user experience across both digital and physical environments.I'm passionate about building and talking about technology and human interfaces, from mechanical keyboards, bikes, and cars to computer hardware, peripheral devices, 3D printing, retro console modding, and homelabs—basically, anything that can be taken apart, customized, or created from scratch.
