Working also as an airframe lead, configuring our airframe software in manufacturers aircrafts to exact requirements. • Contributing airframe work to Aviation's top priority program while also being the airframe lead on a separate program aircraft. Worked as a full-time software engineer intern over the summer with Garmin in their AutoOEM Department, mainly using C++ and internal tools. We used JIRA as our issue tracker, Confluence for documentation, and Git for repository management. I worked on the displays team, which meant that our team focused on managing, updating, and creating display software for our customer's displays in their motor vehicles.• Collaborated with multiple different teams to fix numerous language translation related software bugs to create a more polished and complete user experience on over 15+ different products.• Built key new features for an internal resource manager tool which sped up development time by removing reliance on the trial-and-error testing which was required beforehand. I also created a feature which allowed for the much faster duplication and creation of resources for new products. This heavily sped up development time, as before every resource had to be duplicated/created manually, while this allowed for mass updating at one time.• Reviewed and verified peer’s code patches, and vice-versa, and participated in team meetings to hear and provide progress updates and to communicate and work together with others.

Worked as a software engineer intern using C++ with the Qt Framework along with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Collaborating with co-workers was a main focus, where weekly scrum meetings were held, providing progress updates and participating in code reviews.• Trusted with the responsibility of taking on a project by myself, I led the conversion of one of our internal programs from being a visual basic Microsoft Access program to a full-blown GUI C++ Qt application. As a result, its launch speed increased by 520% and performed overall much faster. It was not just a straight port, new features were also added on top of the old ones being refined.• Contributed heavily to the front-end of our main internal application - helping release two new versions of the software. I also helped out with the back-end code, mainly debugging and testing to make sure the product was ready for launch. Over that time span and multiple sprints, I implemented many new features and re-structured much of the code to be more modular, editable, and flexible in the future.

I also helped bag groceries, tend to inventory, use the cashier, and direct customers to the correct location. Started this role as a general employee and was promoted to a shift lead. I've tried almost every ice cream imaginable, and spoiler, they are all good. Handpicked by the head coach of the varsity basketball team, I was made the team's statistician. As a paid position, I received team gear and traveled with the team. The coach knew my love for basketball and my attention to detail. I was responsible for keeping accurate statistics during all of the games and for presenting them to the coaching staff. Occasionally, I was asked to provide input and advice when it came to basketball operations and choices.
