Associate Education Director
CurrentMy responsibilities encompass two key areas: Youth Programs and School Partnerships. I also collaborate with the Director of Recruitment to support recruitment efforts for our Conservatory.Youth Programs:Kids & Teen Afterschool, Saturday, and Summer Camp Programming:-Manage enrollment, registration, and orientation processes.-Foster clear and effective communication with parents and students.-Prepare and organize orientation, class, and performance materials.-Administer registration systems.-Contribute to Teaching Artist workshops and training sessions and provide support to Teaching Artists.School Partnerships - Discover Success:-Spearhead school outreach and group sales arrangements/booking for student matinees.-Oversee invoicing and payment processes.-Collaborate with TAs to develop pre-show workshops.-Create, design, and produce comprehensive study guides.-Facilitate post-show talk-backs.-Plan and coordinate Educator Nights.School Partnerships - Staging Success:-Foster strong relationships with partner schools and serve as a dedicated liaison.-Oversee and assist with the management of Staging Success residency programs:-Draft and manage the yearly calendar and schedule, including residency dates, events, and meetings.-Ensure the alignment of lesson plans, programs, and performances with established goals.-Producer for all Staging Success productions.Recruitment:-Collaborate with the Director of Recruitment in recruiting prospective students for our Conservatory.-Attend conferences, auditions, and meetings to engage with and assess potential candidates.-Share Atlantic's unique educational opportunities to prospective students.-Contribute to efforts to attract/enroll passionate and talented actors for the program.My role at Atlantic allows me to contribute meaningfully to the enrichment of young lives through theater/arts education, while also actively participating in the recruitment of the next generation of theater artists.
