I enjoy working with developers and other QAs to help produce and deliver high quality code that solves various problems.▶️ WHY A CAREER IN SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCEMy interest in programming began when I became the lead programmer on my high school robotics team, where I led a few programmers in designing and testing code that enabled our robot to perform specific tasks. I then went to the University of Wisconsin Platteville for three years after getting an associates degree and obtained my Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. During that time I took a liking to the test process and helping check others work to ensure everyone had code that was acceptable for our classes.After university I joined Revature did contract work through them for Warner Bros. Discovery I have utilized many skills to ensure code is thoroughly tested. Utilizing various front end UI and back end service test frameworks I wrote automatic tests that would be ran alongside the CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins to ensure all deployed code was of an acceptable quality. Additionally, both manual and regression tests were done to further ensure high quality code. I also gained experience in creating the test cases that would be run to ensure quality.
