I’m a future software developer that’s currently attending Durham College as a student working towards obtaining my computer programing and analysis advanced diploma. I have interests in all aspects of software as the mechanics behind the scenes making a piece of software work really interest me, as I enjoy thinking up of a programing solution to any given problem. My passion is to create interactive experiences as entertaining and telling story’s that someone can not only see and hear but experience is something I’m truly passionate about.Throughout the 5 semesters thus far I have been able to develop my understanding of software and its development process, along with satisfy my interests in the mechanics behind working software. I have acquired a sound understanding of developing software using the software development life cycle through a project where we had to create the documentation for an applications concept. I Have also have developed my programming skills and have become comfortable using Java, Python, C++ and C# to create application.My time at Durham College has also given me the opportunity to develop my skills in web development using XHTML and a SQL Database. I developed these skills through a project where I created a working website that had multiple types of users stored in a database, where only certain user types could only access or do certain pages or actions based on this logged in users type.
