-Integrated plumbing for our rocket engine test bed-Lead design, simulation, sourcing, and manufacture for 18’ long coaxial liquid propellant rocket tanks that use a piston to transfer the Nitrous Oxide’s autogenous pressure to fuel intended for the club’s spaceshot rocket (first collegiate liquid rocket to space)-Reduced plumbing from previous rockets by ~100% and dramatically improved fill procedure safety with my coaxial tank design -Ensured the tank project met deadlines by supervising and managing 7 people delegating tasks, progress checks, running design reviews, setting up machining schedules, and teaching required skills-Created mass trade spreadsheet to calculate the most mass efficient tank dimensions, which decides the overarching tank design-Taught 10+ people how to run high fidelity Ansys FEA sims, CAD, create manufacturing drawings, size O-ring grooves, etc.-Developed and tested many iterations of solid propellant cartridge ignitors for our engines in order to characterize mass flow rates, minimum orifice size, and required plumbing thickness to determine the ignitor design on the engines-Designed and manufactured a thrust transfer system for an 8000N liquid rocket engine capable of measuring thrust asymmetry which was used for 3 engine hotfires to determine the thrust curve and impulse

-Discovered and addressed 2 limitations of producing helical fibers that the Nature paper we based our helix manufacturing method on was unable to find, increasing the amount of turns the manufacturing method could produce by over 500%-Invented a novel inkjet printing method for hydrogels along with a molding technique for wet spun hydrogel fibers which opened up the application space of these hydrogel fibers significantly-Documented these inventions and methods in paper then submitted it to CHI 2025
