I specialize in strategic web and social media communication, visual storytelling, content development and management, and science communication for environmentally-focused institutions, including not-for-profits, governments, and academic institutions. My most recent efforts have related to fisheries transparency, resource governance, climate science, and science education. My educational background includes degrees and experience in fish and wildlife research and marine biology, with Bachelors and Masters degrees in both, respectively.I currently support the Fisheries Transparency Initiative's efforts to improve transparency and governance in the marine fisheries sector as their Communications Coordinator. Previously, I helped coordinate strategic science communication at the U.S. Geological Survey's National Climate Adaptation Science Center (NCASC) and the regional CASC network.
