Actuarial Consultant with over eight years of experience developing statistical models to support public-sector leaders in designing and pricing health insurance programs. My background includes statistical analysis, predictive analytics, business intelligence, and data modelling, with a focus on the healthcare industry. As a seasoned actuarial consultant, I have worked with numerous Medicaid programs to support the development of rates, as well as to support state legislature objectives, through the development of trend forecasts and rate models. I have also worked extensively to develop rates for special needs groups, which has included analyzing trends related to HIV+, transgender, homeless, behavioral health, and long-term care populations. Analytical by nature, I am passionate about transforming large, disparate data sets into easily digestible models and reports to help stakeholders make well-informed, data-driven decisions.
