I have this far really enjoyed this part time position with the Office of Information Technology for Boise State University. My responsibilities include- Monitor Boise State’s public-facing web environment utilizing web monitoring software and analytics to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.- Evaluating all Boise State University web pages for accessibility, fixing any errors that may arise, and educating site creators on how to accurately configure a web page to reach AA accessibility standards.- Led and instructed colleagues on WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines and the Idaho Website Content Accessibility certification courses. This included mentoring personal within the OIT department on how to make websites accessible to all potential users.- Fluent using front end markup languages such as HTML and XML, as well as other front end related languages including CSS and JavaScript. I also have extensive experience using common industry standard technologies. This includes using WordPress for modifying any accessibility errors found using Monsido's website governance platform.
