Originally hired as a consultant to assist with space planning, facilities management, construction project management, process improvement, and as an assistant to the Manager of Facilities Services while working will all departments and management levels (to C level) on a daily basis.After a successful 24-month contract, I was offered a full time position with the company which I accepted. Functions evolved to include the search for new office space, its leasing, layout, construction, and occupancy design (architecture, workspaces, fixtures, and features).As Blue KC shifts its focus towards a new headquarters building, I count myself blessed to be a part of an awesome team and awesome organization for 5 1/2 years.

I am responsible for the overall operation of the office which is the largest (both geographically and by staff size) in the LSC region. This includes oversight of a team of 65 managers, supervisors, technicians and inventory specialists as well as a large physical facility, expansive inventory and a fleet of 48 vehicles. Financial accountability, asset management, safety and effective partnering with leadership of other divisions within DISH are daily functions.I am pleased to be leading this great group of people and continuing the winning tradition of this team.

For more than 30 years, AAS Restoration has been providing professional remediation, restoration and construction services to the Greater Kansas City area - usually following a catastrophic loss caused by fire, wind or water damage. As a certified WBE company, the decision was made to leverage their exceptional resources and customer service to pursue opportunities in new commercial construction. Tyler was hired in the spring of 2013 to develop, implement and oversee the operations of this new division. Additionally, Tyler is directly involved with all of AAS's government and public contracts.Tyler works directly with suppliers, contractors, owners and architects to create and pursue opportunities as well as to oversee the entire project life cycle from conception to completion - all within the required timeline and budget.
