About Tyler Scott
I am currently working as a full-time DevOps Architect at United Launch Alliance, but I am open to some side jobs and contract work. I graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. I have been exposed to many languages and development methodologies, and focus heavily on software architecture. I am extremely passionate about software, especially since it is shaping our world right now. I also enjoy the creativity and foresight it takes to develop an application from start to finish, building something new. One thing I have learned above all else is that Software Engineering is a social field, and it requires you to be able to collaborate to make bigger and better things. I enjoy partnering up and bouncing ideas off my peers. I have professional experience in web application development and embedded software development. I also am considered an expert in CI/CD and containerized automation.I am always looking for a new challenge to grow my career, and I am passionate about automated testing and all things devops related. Though I prefer to design software, I think its important to have the flexibility to take risks to innovate. That is made possible through having a strong safety net to fall back on, which is provided by good devops practices.
