At the age of 18 I was persuaded to leave my high-school football team to take on a support role filming, I was a safety hazard. In the last 12 years I’ve transformed from a 90lb. high-school senior liability, into a proven small unit and staff level leader, completing some of the harshest training the US Army has to offer; and since leaving the military, have achieved a 3.88 Cumulative GPA in an ABET accredited Mechanical Engineering Program.I’m married with three small children. I have taken responsibility for and trained others since the age of 15, first as a martial arts instructor, then as a cadet leader, and as an Army airborne sergeant. I am an excellent communicator and can leverage a multitude of interpersonal skills to achieve objectives and foster group cohesion.I am very adaptable, having transitioned from machine guns to calculus in the span of 4 days; and I view the changing of circumstances and problems as challenges to overcome. I work best under stress and any opportunity to experience true problem solving and personal growth. I am uncomfortable unless I feel I am an asset to whichever group I find myself in.My greatest strength is my ability to generate quick, simple, and creative solutions to problems and work well with a myriad of individual personalities. I have a passion for machines, and design and look forward to using my skills to improve the lives of others.
