North American oil and enhanced oil recovery has proven many challenges. For many, chemical treating is the primary solution. Maintaining the integrity of oilfield infrastructure through chemical treating is essential for economic growth and environmental protection.As an Asset Integrity Chemist, chemical treating for corrosion mitigation is my primary function. As each oilfield presents its own unique variables, screening for the most appropriate treatment is necessary. Ideal treatment is determined by static autoclave, rotating cylinder electrode and rotating cage autoclave testing . The results are then quantified and a product recommendation is made to the customer.
