Responsible for directing customers to their screens, cleaning the establishent, ensuring film theft does not occur, maintaining orderly crowds, and that films are playing as expected. Excellent time management is crucial in this role to ensure these responsibilties are taking place at regular intervals. On closing shifts I am responsible for creating a good standard of hygiene for the next day, for both customers and colleagues. When on concessions, I am managing heavy flows of customers and requests, ensuring each get into their film on time, and that queues are at a minimum. Key skills for this role include maximising profits by upselling, suggesting deals, as well as ensuring stock is in date and that the premises are clean.

Primarily on concession tills. Here, I would handle money, ID customers, work at a fast pace, and provide friendly customer service. When stock was delivered, I helped bring the trollies through, as well as putting out any stock needed onto the shelves on shop floor. When working late shifts, I would mop the entire shop floor and ensure we were fully stocked for the next day. This role meant dealing with challenging customers and a variety of specific requests and questions, keeping me on my toes, ensuring I provided the best service possible.

Located in 'Bicester Village', this occupation taught me many things about handling busy work environments and the pressure of a heavy workload, as well as the ability to adapt to different clientel dependent on their needs, working on both the men's and children's departments. Bicester Village, being one of the largest tourist hotspots in the UK, also required me to work with a large international customer base. When I was not on shop floor aiding customers, I would be in the stock room, helping other CA find different sizes of shoes customers enquired about, as well as getting stock for the shelves. When I worked late shifts, I would clean the shop floor, put out stock where needed, and help clear out and recycle used shoe boxes from the day.
