As a Process Operator at North West Redwater Partnership (NWRP), I operate and monitor the plant equipment and systems that convert bitumen into high-quality, low-carbon diesel and other products. I hold a 3rd Class Power Engineer ticket from the Alberta Boilers Safety Association, as well as a Rig Technician - Red Seal certification from the Alberta trades.I have over 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, working as a Derrickhand at Horizon Drilling and a Welder/Structural Steel Fitter at Rapid Steel. I decided to go back to school in 2021 and completed the Power Engineering Technology Diploma Program at NAIT, where I learned the principles and practices of power generation, distribution, and control. I am passionate about applying my new technical skills as well as my knowledge and hands-on experience from the drilling industry to the power engineering field, where I can contribute to the continuous improvement and teamwork of NWRP and its environmental and social goals.
