Starting as a sales associate In high school, I quickly rose to #1 in sales. The owner saw traits in me that I could not see myself so he started having me do training. Realizing the best ROI with me as his sales trainer he started to facilitate new opportunities. The next step was to expand sales training to other locations, starting with Lloyd Center, Clackamas Town Center then to Salem Center and Lancaster Mall. Once those Hermit Hut's were more profitable he gave me a life changing experience, Las Vegas. There were two Hermit Hut's, one in the Meadows Mall and the other in The Boulevard Mall. He flew me down for a 5 day stay, before I was able to get on my return flight home he made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So I trained for another two weeks. That was an absolute blast! I ended up going back down to Vegas for another 3 weeks a few months after. The next phase of developing the Vegas Hermit Hut's required a bit larger commitment, this time for the 3 month holiday shopping season. As you could imagine, hermit crabs in painted shells as pets were quite a cool gift to give. This meant we needed to put all of our emphasis on creating the best holiday season possible! We ended up doing exactly that, it was so successful we attracted a local buyer and sold those Hermit Hut's right after the Christmas season!
