Developed skills in project management through projects like constructing a new pool. Responsible for a year round staff of up to four people and a summer staff of 35 young students. Grew in my ability to ask volunteers for help and to equip them for success in their service Gained financial skills in navigating the camp through crisis after crisis, securing loans, cutting budgets, and finding the donors to keep the doors open through tough times. Worked with county and state officials to comply with camping standards and grew familiar with American Camping Association standards.

Responsible for Mt. Cross Annual Fund - giving continued to grow in each of my four years. Managed successful events including a phon-a-thon, appreciation dinners, and large volunteer projects like our Memorial Day Work Weekend and Celebration. As co-director, was responsible for the day to day operations of the camp including supervising, motivating, and keeping on track our year round staff. Managed a million dollar budget with passionate stewardship and staying in the black the last three years I was there. Wrote successful funding grants for a Charitable Gifting Initiative and Youth Leadership Initiative

Served here three summers during college. Oversaw programs taking place off-site for two summers. My third summer I co-managed all programming activities at Shoshone Base Camp (a satellite facility)
