His first healthcare position was as a surgery orderly, and his first management position was as an environmental services supervisor.He obtained a Ph.D. in Healthcare Management and Policy from the University of Texas School of Public Health. His doctoral research and dissertation focused on the effectiveness of large-scale quality improvement collaborations. For research methods, he trained in quantitative and econometric statistical techniques.In addition to his doctorate, Dr. Wallace possesses an MBA from Kennesaw State University and a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Indiana University (IUPUI).
