With a strong commitment to safeguarding digital landscapes, I've been fortunate to lead the application security efforts for Cargill's premier digital services platform, Digital Foundry, since July 2020, and the Smart Manufacturing Platforms since 2021.🔐 In my role, I work collaboratively across various Cargill Product teams, serving as a vital link between Cargill Global IT and Non-IT business leadership. One of my key responsibilities is to provide strategic guidance and present comprehensive risk assessments to both enterprise and C-level executives, ensuring a robust security posture for Digital Foundry.🚀 Here are some highlights from my journey at Cargill:✅ Led Application Security initiatives for Cargill's Factory of the Future program, securing our manufacturing plants around the globe.✅ Engaged in diverse security activities, including Static/Dynamic code testing, threat modeling, Security Architecture design reviews, and active participation in Penetration Testing of internal and external products.🤝 I also work closely with application security teams to prioritize and advise on remediations for security findings, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.📚 Sharing knowledge is a passion of mine. I've had the privilege of developing and implementing Secure Software Development practices, influencing over 1,000 developers and enhancing security across 3,000+ applications, reaching customers in more than 70 countries.🌐 Embracing the fast-paced world of technology, I actively contribute to the integration of Application Security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with Cloud Engineering and DevOps groups.🔍 Additionally, I provide technical expertise to internal product teams, specializing in Security Architecture and application security, and I'm honored to serve as the lead application security resource in the Cargill Enterprise incident response team.📈 To ensure ongoing success, I've designed key performance indicators (KPIs) and implemented processes to track progress across product teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and security excellence.🌟 It's my privilege to be at the forefront of securing digital innovation and driving secure development practices within Cargill.
