I'm currently the web portal administrator for the my.occ.edu website. My current administration of the my.occ.edu web portal consists of some content management, upgrades to the system, technical trouble-shooting, and development of new site improvements. The web portal is a Jenzabar campus management website.I also do various other IT jobs such as reloading computers, setting up new computers, technical service calls from staff/faculty, and taking care of various other technical needs. I help with the management of an eCommerce website, shop.occ.edu, where we sell Ozark branded items. For many years, I have managed the college's full color LED electronic sign, which you see as you enter the campus from the south, creating graphics, animations, and messages and scheduling when the messages appear.For about 18 years at OCC I managed the occ.edu website (our main public site), which I actually began doing in 1998 as a part of my previous job with the college. With this, I was mainly updating website content (text, photos and PDFs) as well as working through occasional development of the site's remodels (I went through at least 3 or 4) and improvements. I assisted with online forms including some which had e-commerce needs. I editing and uploaded MP3 files of chapel messages at least once a week while school was in session. I maintained the college's YouTube channel, OCCJoplin, uploading videos and organizing content. I also assisted with and managed multiple Google calendars and forms integrated into the occ.edu website.I've had some experience with website technical development using Visual Studio (C# and VB), DreamWeaver (HTML), Ektron CMS400.Net (Developer Certification), and some minor SQL knowledge. I've done graphic design work using Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks). I also have some audio engineering work experience.

Experience with DreamWeaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, CS3 Suite, Ektron CMS400.Net Developer Certification.College Relations Assistant involved operation of large format printing (36" wide printer), updating electronic sign (message sign as you enter campus), organizing and managing registration for campus events.

Oversight of audio/visual library (videos, CDs, DVDs, tapes, campus AV equipment). Purchasing audio/visual materials and equipment. Management of classroom AV equipment for entire campus. Teaching in a one evening seminar (Educational Technology) once a semester. Occasionally created edited videos for a few events. In 1998 I began updating content on OCC's website as an addition to this job.

Served as the interim student minister (part-time) for the summer and beginning of the Fall as we were between hires for the position.
