About Ty Menard
(he | him | his) I am a creative, self-starting Entertainment Professional with experience in Project/Production Coordination and Stage Management as well as Theatrical Design and Management of several disciplines, including Puppetry (BFA in Puppetry from UConn). As a leader, I enjoy being a part of a collaborative team, whose members challenge each other to continue to grow and develop as individuals, as well as strengthen the dynamic of the team as a whole. I get excited when I have opportunities to influence change, foster growth, and collaborate with a team to accomplish a goal. I enjoy overcoming challenge, as difficult situations are never a roadblock, but rather a momentary hurdle to creatively defeat, either individually to blaze the path for others, or with a team ready to tackle the obstacle together. Though my education, passion, and industry experience primarily exists within the Entertainment industry, I am open to considering and adapting my relatable skills (such as Administrative Assistant skills) to career paths in alternate industries. My experiences in Project Coordination, Theatrical Design, and Stage Management have developed my skills as a creative and critical thinker, motivated self starter, and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment. My creative mind is not only geared towards artistic creativity and design, but also constant brainstorming of new efficiencies and improved process to boost office workflow and team collaboration, battling the all too common saying, “Because that’s the way it’s always been done”. Please do not hesitate to reach out if my skills and experience may be of value in your organization currently, or if you’d like to connect for potential future collaboration. “In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity” - Albert Einstein
