As a Geoscience Outreach Ambassador, I was involved in educational events and activities centered on the Geosciences. The events varied from Girls into Geoscience with A-level students to British Science Week, educating children in Key Stages 1-2, in Microfossils.

As a Hotel Services Assistant, duties included general housekeeping duties and maintaining cleanliness through the patients rooms and the hospital. Previously as a Pantry Assistant, duties included food and beverage preparation, whilst adhering to food hygiene practices.

Plymouth

PALS is the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme, being a PALS leader meant that I ran sessions with first year students, sharing my experience and giving advice and help where needed. This required preparation of plans for each session which included activities and power points. Being a leader also meant attending welcome events for new students studying geology.

Whilst working at Primark, I primarily served customers on the tills. My duties did extend to customer services and the shop floor at times. Whilst working here I gained confidence in my communication and improved my customer service, well as receiving some training in work safety.
