• Plan and implement year-round integration of Advocacy activities, legislative priorities and Alzheimer’s Association events and meetings. • Recruit volunteers to assist in completing major activities. • Lead the committee in developing and executing the Action Plan to conduct Advocacy efforts that support the chapter’s mission.• Direct committee meetings and maintain frequent communication with committee members. • Document advocacy efforts and provide reports to the Board of Directors. • Initiate advocacy efforts during the course of a year, i.e. communications with local elected officials, public speaking at schools, churches, etc.

I am a Co-Host and Producer of the Cerebral Overload Podcast. We currently record two episodes a week, averaging around 30 minutes per episode. I am also a head writer on the actual website. We cover technology news, reviews, gaming, and other news that catches our interest.

Edit, rewrite, and proofread all articles for new associates. Maintain all social networks including Facebook, Google +, Twitter, and Tumblr. Responsible for maintaining direct contact with and acquiring new clients, associates, and sponsors. Training all new associates. Work with guest writers (many of whom have no formal training in writing) to organize and refine articles. Assist with copywriting and advertising layout.

Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through the direction of shop staff in the performance of quality vehicle repair and maintenance services. Help promote the Midas name and services. Analyze vehicle service needs, effectively communicate those needs to the customer.

Continuously plan/supervise/evaluate hourly Associates, operations, merchandise, and financial areas within the store. Accurately and efficiently: Place items in their correct locations, which may include bending, stooping, and reaching. Prepare/file/mail/maintain routine paperwork. Mentor, teach, assign duties, recognize, supervise, and communicate with hourly associates correctly and efficiently. Work in area that may require exposure to extreme conditions. Understand, effectively follow, and enforce all company procedures, company policies, and laws regarding the supervision of hourly associates, the sales of all restricted items, and the use of chemicals. Resolve customer and associate concerns and demonstrate good customer service. Pick up items such as small coins and changed the labels/paper in the portable/SMART printers. Visually verify: small print. Items to shipping labels, pricing labels, shelf labels, chemical container labels, and other store signing and to the handheld/SMART terminal display, report, and logbooks. Communicate effectively with customers and other wal-mart associates.
