Co-chair of Moonlight and Magnolia conference in 2018 and 2019. The conference is held over four days and has approximately 200 attendees. Programming included keynote breakfast and luncheon speakers, an awards banquet, 40+ workshops, movie premiers, editor and agent appointments/pitches, a book signing event, and a half-day craft workshop.My co-chair duties included in the following:• Assisted in recruiting, choosing, and scheduling workshops• Program lay-out in InDesign and creation of ads in the program• Coordinated meetings and communication with committee members and sub-committees• Handled contracts between organization and speakers• Worked with the hotel representatives on accommodation, meals, and program area• Created content for social media channels• Managed paid social media ads that resulted in increased attendance•.
