When I was little, I remember picking up a camcorder and learning how to edit my own videos; asking my dad how to use green screens and add fun transitions. Disney and Pixar films inspired me. I would watch videos to hear how their drawings, CGI, and scriptwriting would seamlessly come together into masterpieces. This is what started my passion for storytelling.It wasn’t until I attended Stephen F. Austin State University where I studied film and digital media. Collaborating on sets and editing films made me realize this is really what I wanted to do. I left feeling motivated to keep going.It is in the post-production stage where I feel I have the most creativity and power in shaping and enhancing the story. Since discovering this, I have thrown myself into many editing projects; not limited to films, but also commercials and music videos. No matter the type of project, there is always a story to be told!
