I am currently a Cyber Security Compliance Analyst with The City of Phoenix, where I ensure our organization's adherence to cybersecurity regulations, standards, and best practices. In this role, I conduct compliance assessments, interpret regulatory requirements like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST, and develop policies to mitigate cybersecurity risks. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps, recommend remediation strategies, and monitor compliance through audits and security reviews. My passion lies in safeguarding systems and data, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.Previously, I served as an Information Security Analyst at URBN, where I focused on security management, ISO 27001 compliance, and security audits. I worked closely with various teams to identify vulnerabilities, propose solutions, and implement security measures. My experience spans both the public and private sectors, including Property Management and E-commerce, where I performed security analysis and audits, bringing diverse perspectives to my work.I hold an Associate of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from Mesa Community College and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Arizona State University.
