CurrentPrinciple Directives: Maintain discipline, and individual physical fitness standards and readiness; obey lawful orders of NCOs and Officers; maintain military appearance and integrity toward branch of service. Principle Operatives: • Monitor emergency frequencies in order to detect distress calls and respond by dispatching emergency equipment. • Communicate with receiving operators in order to exchange transmission instructions. • Operate radio equipment in order to communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations. • Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine tests in order to ensure that operations standards are met. • Repair radio equipment as necessary, using electronic testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Support Operatives: • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.; Provide customer service; Assign employees to specific duties; Direct and supervise employees; Enforce safety, health, and security rules; Hire, train, and evaluate personnel and Keep records
