Growing up I have always been an active person. I played multiple sports throughout my childhood, up until the end of high school. I decided to play baseball at Simpson College, and I was part of the leadership council for the baseball team both my freshman and sophomore years. I learned skills such as teamwork, competitiveness, and leadership. I decided to attend Simpson College because they highly valued education and believed it was the right fit for me. I am a health and exercise science major and have made the Dean’s list two semesters and currently have a 3.3 GPA. On-campus, I work at the fitness center in my free time, and the past two summers, I have worked at a Landscaping company in my hometown. At that job, I used my problem-solving skills often, as weather and terrain are unpredictable. While in high school, I was fortunate enough to intern at ChildServe. There, I observed all types of therapies and how to use self-motivation to quickly get my work done. I am grateful for the experiences I have had, and I hope to help people in the future in any way that I can.
