With an enthusiasm for craftsmanship as diverse as his native South Africa; Tyron Bester is focusing his creative ambition on Artisanal Bread. Drawing on his background as a gunsmith, blacksmith, toolmaker and glassblower, Tyron has a lot to work into his culinary degree; transforming him into a true gastronaut! With passion and intuition, Tyron is working on new ways to experience breads and reinvigorate the bread baking world while completing his Associate of Applied Science degree at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.
