JOB OUTCOMES AND FUNCTIONS Key job functions/tasks which will lead to job outcomes. Monitor, adjust and optimize of functions and processes Monitor, adjust and maintenance of the laser cutting process. Responsible for production performance, party quality, plant availability. Responsible for laser safety. Define and monitor cleaning and maintenance shifts.SUPERVISE TEAM MEMBERS Attend meeting with previous and next Shift Manager prior to shift take-over to prioritizeand plan shift activities Resolve issues impacting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale targets. Report performance and escalate issues to Plant Manager. Coach team members on new skills to be acquired on the job Ensure manpower resources are optimally utilized for the duration of the shift Conduct disciplinary and grievance enquiries as and when required and in accordance with company proceduresEFFECTIVE SHOP FLOOR PLANNING Ensure that the work in progress prior to taking over shift will be produced according to approved set standards Obtain production requirements from previous shift and plan shift according to load chart and or requirements Ensure that all production resources are identified, timeously available and in good working order Instruct relevant team members to ensure necessary preparation for the next run Liaise with Logistics, Quality and Maintenance to facilitate optimal support. Ensure that settings are according to set-up plan Ensure that shop floor planning achieves optimal set-up time Ensure visual inspection and first-off approval of part together with Line Inspector before production run starts Ensure that critical items get preferential treatment without compromising quality Report all down-time immediately Monitor rework on line to prevent delayed rework at a later stageDOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE Complete all production, quality, and scrap related documentation accurately and timeously

Key accountabilities: Review and summarize Original Equipment Manufacturer documentation regardingmaintenance activities  Support the Operations and Maintenance Teams in order to ensure that the power plant targets are achieved safely, efficiently and within the company rules and procedures, OEM guidelines, legal, environmental, contractual, and other requirements.  Co-ordinate the planning and scheduling of the daily operations & maintenance plant activities Prepare job plan sequences for input into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo).  Attend works management meetings.  Consult with the warehouse and/or procurement sections to establish the external lead times for required services and material.  Daily follow up of plant defects, including emergency and/or breakdowns.  Assist in development of the short- and long-term operation and maintenance strategy for the plant. Assist to establish and update the appropriate procedures and computerized maintenance management system and processes.  Continuously improve operations and maintenance systems and procedures as and when required. Provide an interface service between operating and maintenance as well as other involved departments during outages.  Participate in the Plant Training and Qualification Program.  Understand and adhere to all Plant Safety Guidelines & Procedures and strive to maintain an injury-free environment

Duties/ Responsibilities:Steam turbine and rotating equipment Main responsibility on the CSP site was the rotatingequipment. Understanding the information on the givenequipment, ensuring specifications are according tostandard of the client and supervising the sub-contractorson site. Gain knowledge on safety on construction under theOSHACT to be able to work on the site and in the workplace Knowledge on the CSP Site and the process of finishing thesite accord to the sections that is needed first. Work with different machines suppliers like Siemens andSulzer. Work with technical Engineers and supervisor toensure equipment is installed according to specification Main supervisor I worked with has experience on working of turbines and rotating equipment.
