Directs and develops the EHS improvement initiatives and the daily management of ongoing EHS operations.Provide leadership to senior management team regarding the EHS Strategic objectives and regulatory compliance issues.Manages all ES activities associated with the Restaurants owned and or operated by the Micro BreweryDirects activities and conduct Risk assessments to identify and control E & S risks to reduce injury and costs.Directs and coordinate management of Plant medical claims with doctors, case managers and Workers’ Compensation attorneys. Provides legal assistance and expert testimony to Corporate Legal and Plant Management on arbitrations, depositions, and third party liability suits.Manages the General Liability prevention and claims management associated with Brew Pubs and having the Public / Consumers utilizing the facilityRepresents the facility to external regulatory agencies i.e. Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation, etc.Leads environmental, safety, and sustainability community outreach programs that contribute to the company image. Identified, advocated, and coordinated opportunities and programs to continuously diminish the company’s environmental impact in accordance with the Statement of Values

- Develops and conduct various safety training for individual departments and work areas and includes, but is not limited to: powered industrial trucks, ergonomics, hazardous materials, right to know, material handling, CPR/First Aid, AED, and Personal Protection Equipment.- Identifies and analyzes accidental loss workplace conditions; independently conducts safety investigations and recommends corrective action where occupational hazards exist. - Conducts various environmental regulatory permitting and enforce policies and procedures relating to NFPA fire code standards. Maintains Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on chemicals used in the workplace. - Ensures compliance with government and state health and safety regulations that meets both budgetary and compliance requirements. - Provides industrial hygiene support in the areas of hearing conservation, respiratory protection, air monitoring, and heat related illness.
