Tyrone Burks is the Chief Executive Officer of Loving Arms Enterprises and is directly responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the facility and subsidiary branches of the company, selecting, motivating and evaluating all company team members and volunteers, and assuring a smoothly functioning, efficient organization.

During his years as a non-commissioned officer in the Air Force, Tyrone trained and supervised 32 junior enlisted personnel across two different career fields - both as a military policeman and as an intelligence analyst. During that time, he was able to effectively lead and train the airmen he was responsible for, and under Tyrone’s direction, 4 of his troops made “Below the Zone” promotions, which means they obtained their promotion 6 months prior to their peers.In 2016, in addition to earning a “Below the Zone” promotion, one of Tyrone’s airman was honored with the award “Airman of the Year” on the wing level. Tyrone also attended Airman Leadership School, which allowed him to learn different leadership styles, flexibility, adaptability, and how to work with, and lead, a variety of people from all walks of life.

Tyrone began volunteering at Loving Arms as a preteen, before becoming employed as an Assistant Teacher and eventually earning a promotion to Loving Arm’s Deputy Director while attending college.
