Post Adoption Program comes to the aid of families that have accepted the responsibility of adopting a child that has previously been in the state's foster care system. Many of these children have suffered abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment at the hands of their birth parents. It is the mission of our program to ensure that these families not only survive, but also thrive with healthy, whole relationships. Services provided: Casework and service planning, parent training and support groups, counseling, therapeutic camping, respite care, residential placement services, information referral services and 24-hour crisis intervention.

Responsibility for reviewing existing vendor contracts and drafting new vendor contracts when required, in accordance with company legal policies. Also, involved with contract negotiations, renegotiations and terminations.

Assist transitioning foster youth to address barriers they face, including workforce services, dropout prevention activities, self-esteem, leadership, couseling, and other services that will support healthy development of transitioning foster youth.

Connected military members to off base counseling services.
