Implementation and delivery of Council's City Transport Strategy 2031 through leadership and management of the Transport Program Management & Delivery Portfolio within the Transport and Traffic Branch of the Transport and Infrastructure directorate comprising: - Five Capital Works Project/Program Management Delivery teams:- 1. Traffic Systems and Transport Infrastructure Delivery Unit (Traffic Signal Upgrade and Refurbishment Projects, Traffic Monitoring CCTV camera installation, I.T.S., Fibre Optic line installations, Public Transport Infrastructure new & upgrades, Road Safety Barrier Installations, Business & Project Support team 4. Program Assurance & Integration Unit (Project Management Knowledge Base, Cultural Heritage Assessment reviews, Process Mapping & Improvement, External Design & Construction Service Provision Contracts, As-Constructed Asset Data, Asset Mgmt & Transport Program Integration, 5. Transport Program Management & Finance team - Coordination of 10 year & 4 year capital expenditure programs and budgets, Annual Branch Operational budgets, State & Federal government Transport Infrastructure grant management, Manage & Review Portfolio Performance- Portfolio Governance- Portfolio Resources Management- Portfolio Communication & Change Management- Business analysis & project support functions

Appointment to drive change management during the City's Engineering Services restructure and reform. Implementation of City Transport strategies in relation to traffic management and operations through leadership of traffic engineering, traffic management, traffic works and operations for Gold Coast City Council responsible for:-- management of traffic signals on GCCC roads and future Gold Coast Rapid Transport corridor, Intelligent Transport Systems linked to Department of Transport and Main Roads systems- responsible for road and pedestrian safety initiatives & projects, member of the South Coast Region Transport Advisory Committee & Speed Management Advisory Committee (TMR, RACQ & Queensland Police service), Local Area Traffic Management Schemes, Traffic Survey Data Management, Street Lighting operation and maintenance on GCCC roads, Pavement marking and signage installation and maintenance, Road crash investigation and Special Major Event traffic management.
