Passionate, experienced and highly motivated broadcast journalist. Often accused of living and breathing the world of sport, I rarely switch off from it and have built an extensive contact base and ongoing relationships with key people in the industry - both within Scotland and further afield. From football, boxing and rugby to wrestling, darts and karate (I am even an honorary Scottish Samurai... not many people can say that) there are few sports I have not provided news coverage of. With almost 2 decades of experience in the world of news and sports broadcasting I have honed a style adaptable to both a studio and on location environment. I am frequently involved in coverage of major sporting events, from big domestic and international football matches to global events, for example The Ryder Cup and The Open. Leading a team as well as setting my own agenda; turning around material against tight deadlines, managing resources, sharing content with colleagues around Scotland and beyond are all part of my daily role.
