With over 25 years in the residential construction and Inspection industry, I have acquired a vast array of knowledge when it comes to the home. I was introduced to the industry as a laborer working for a contractor in Ontario and dedicate much time to studying building codes and blueprints, which led to me becoming a site foreman within 9 months.I led several large multi-million dollar jobs in Ontario and was successful in completing these large projects under budget and in a timely manner.In 1999 after falling off the roof of a house, I decided to advance my career by studying to be a Home Inspector. Entering this career was quite challenging, especially with all the competition in the Barrie are. I visited several real estate companies to introduce myself, and after many painstaking hours of interviews, I was given a break.In less than a year from my first inspection my company grew so much so that I needed to hire an additional 4 inspectors. I began training inspectors out in the field, and most, if not all of these inspectors have made a career of the industry.I started working with Habitat For Humanity in 2016 till Sept. of 2021, as a Project Manager for builds, and was responsible for house construction for all of Newfoundland and Labrador.Currently I am the President of Newfire Construction Inc.
