Direct line manager for 15 direct reports. I was the first Development Manager at Trade Me in the new structure. This role was to provide all of our engineers with a people leader to advocate for and support them with their well being and professional development. Responsible for coaching and mentoring tests analysts and developers from different business units to help grow their abilities and understanding around quality and delivery. Test lead on the "Preview/FrEnd" project which was the largest technology project undertaken at Trade Me. The project encompassed 40+ pods and large scale infrastructure, database and front end changes. I ran multiple training workshops on automation and testing approaches across the company. Helping build the capability of other squads to be able to build, test and deploy code through the new pipeline. I was the product owner for our in- house automation tool called Tractor. Collaborating with developers and testers to ensure a better understanding of their needs and prioritising fixes. Part of this role included being deploy and release coach for multiple agile teams across all business units, assisting with not only their test and automation approaches but also rapid production fixes.

Senior test analyst on a Front End Migration to Angular project. I developed repeatable tests, coached and mentored other teams in understanding the importance of testing the right things and not all the things. Managing the automation suite for this project which included refactoring tests, data and implementing a component based approach to help speed up the time to create automation tests. Worked with developers and product owners to help understand the needs of our customers and identify customer problems earlier on in the development life cycle. Testing responsibilities included manual, automated, performance and accessibility testing. Over this time I gained more responsibility and became the Test Lead for the project.
