About Tyrone Middleton

I have been involved in application development since the early 90’s and started my first company in 2005 where I am still involved in the daily running of this company. Over the last 10 years I have started 3 other startups all of them were Internet startups, for which I did all the development in PHP and MySQL. My skills lie in backend development with PHP including API’s XML and interfaces to other applications. I am also well versed in all aspects of building a Start up venture. I have recently been involved in the start up of www.missionquest.co where I developed the entire platform in CodeIgniter PHP and MySql, with API’s to Facebook and Google maps with feeds to Company pages, photo uploads and all sorts of interesting things. I have also ported the application to Android, and will be finalising iOS soon.I am a skilled Web application developer, with strong problem solving and team management skills coupled with my vast experience working with Social media API’s and web integration into other systems makes me a strong contender for suitable roles. The majority of my web development work has been in the Linux Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) tech stack environment. Software development is my passion, and leading IT development teams is something I have been doing from the age of 23 years.Specialties: Web development, Trying new idea's even if they dont succeed at first.
