Senior Solutions Engineer/Nato Contractor
CurrentMr. Oglesby is a Sr. GIS Solutions Engineer responsible for 8+ Core GIS Increment 3.1 NATO Communication & Information Agency, (NCIA), Esri Enterprise disparate deployments across Europe. He is the lead implementation engineer for the multi-machine, high availability ESRI Enterprise inclusive of: Portal for ArcGIS (hosted, GIS, datastores, analysis, image, analytics federation), web, SQL Server database servers and Pulse Secure Load Balancer on 16-22 virtualized machines at each site. Mr. Oglesby’s expertise in cyber security and governance are embedded into every implementation. The servers are physically deployed throughout Europe inclusive of Great Britain which support disparate NATO installations geospatial information and services worldwide. Mr. Oglesby provides expert support for ArcGIS Server, Image Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and Windows 2019 server administration, installation, and fine tuning. Associated with these primary implementation tasks, he also installs, and maintains Esri Enterprise applications/extensions including ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, SQL Server, and Portal for ArcGIS. Analytical, Geo-Processing, Experience Builder and Open StreetMap. Strictly adhering to industry standards and best practices, he crafts and maintains architectural diagrams, security protocol documentation, change management governance for final integration and deployment. As a major component to the continuous monitoring program, Mr. Oglesby installs and configures ArcGIS Monitor to monitor and measure application usage, baseline application performance for bottlenecks or other performance issues. Mr. Oglesby is a teammate for group collaboration in crafting standard operating procedures/policies documentation for program governance and process management. Lastly, Mr. Oglesby presents and provides training for new implementations to the disparate on-site Geo directorates for acceptance, turnover and data/service migration.
