CurrentInstall, maintain, and repair medical equipment. Test and calibrate parts, identifying parts for repair or replacement. Perform preventative maintenance on critical equipment to ensure high-quality treatment for patients.Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on general biomedical equipment.Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns.Work with, direct, and document the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education. Assist with Service Operations and Special Projects as assigned.Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of medical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Diagnose and repair malfunctioning biomedical equipment, reducing equipment downtime. Train and mentor junior technicians in equipment maintenance and repair procedures.Collaborate with healthcare staff to understand equipment needs and provide appropriate technical support.Manage spare parts and supplies inventory, ensuring availability for scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.Troubleshoot and repair biomedical equipment.
