We support more than 5 million users and 100's of organizations.The PlayPosit Interactive Player seamlessly combines any number of video streams from our 12 video host integrations with embedded interactions to create online quizzes, branching paths lessons, learner peer review assignments, or monitored class discussions.Built using Vue.js 2.0, Vuetify, and a Node.js Express backend, the Player supports a Swagger documented API and Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) and is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level AAA compliant.

I was accountable for implementing our front-end features, improving our front-end build process, and updating our UI/UX for this ed-tech company specializing in digital portfolios. I worked closely with the Co-founders, our CTO, and the senior software architect.I joined bulb at a time of growth and faced many interesting obstacles, challenges, and ideas for which I was able to solve and implement those ideas into fruition.Some of my successes included spearheading the project for our application framework migrationfrom AngularJS to Angular which allowed us to utilize modern programming practices and technologies and increased developer efficiency. Overhauling our UI/UX to increase the retention rate of our users, and implementing an audio recording feature compatible with most browser types and versions which allowed our users to create and curate their ideas in another communication medium.Worked with many tools, languages, and frameworks ranging from AngularJS, Angular, TypeScript, Java, and MongoDB.

Drove continual improvement to system architecture by refactoring old legacy code. This involved updating many of their JavaScript web applications as well as refactoring their .NET web forms using C#. Communicated with back-end servers to provide real-time updated information in conjunction with the continued improvement of their intranet functionality and data migration.I also maintained the company databases using Microsoft SQL Server and aggregated many of their vm workstations using VMware software.

Closely monitored pool patrons and staff to prevent and detect signs of misconduct. Performed and managed general maintenance and cleaning of pool facilities. Maintained accurate daily records of water chemical levels and filtration systems.
