Duties include inspections of quality parts, such as pressure vessels and piping for various projects for oil and gas, chemical, and nuclear plant industries and making sure that RAM Industries are following the procedures, drawings, and specifications that has been approved by RAM Industries customers and all participating parties involved.▪Perform dimensional, NDT Liquid Penetrant and PAUT Inspections, coating inspections, and surveillance activities during manufacturing, fabrication, installation and operational testing per applicable national code ASME Section V, VIII, IX, and B31.3 that are entrusted with producing quality parts and many projects within the company for the oil and gas,chemical and nuclear industry. ▪ Verification of compliance to purchase orders and specifications, drawings and codes (ASME, ANSI, ASNT, ASTM, AWS, NACE, API, ASIC, and SSPC) that has been approved by customers of RAM Industries and all participating parties involved. ▪ Perform final inspection of pressure vessels and documents per applicable codes prior to shipping. ▪ Complete breakdown documentation of inspections for customer units in conjunction with operations.

Performed UT Inspections on military composite and metal bonded parts using the Maus 5 and Auss 8 Axis Automated Through-Transmission/Pulse Echo Ultrasonic Machines with Imagin Software and Compression Wave UT on the V-22 Osprey military planes composite parts and many other metal bonded parts needed for C-17, G-5, and C-130 parts. Lead QA/QC Inspector for Northrop Grumman Ship Systems in Avondale, LA. Department of Defense Contractor. Provided quality assurance for the newly developed Navy LPD Amphibious Transport Ships. Job duties included routine surveillances, pipe inspection, weld inspection, document review, coordination with Supship/Navy personnel, material inspection, hanger inspection, etc. § Provided quality control activities for maintenance activities involving static equipment alteration, replacement and repairs to facilitate Northrop Grumman quality objectives and industry standard records for all structures that required UT Shear Wave Flaw inspections (structures and pipe). Provided additional support to mechanical organization as identified.§ Performed final acceptance of UT Shear Wave Flaw inspection and other NDT methods for production on butt welds and other welded material.§ Provided final acceptance of maintenance and construction packages and turn over to Supship/Navy.
