Serve as Product Manager of OSCAR (Online System for Clerkship Application and Review), the online system for all federal law clerk hiring in the United States since 2011 (initially as a contractor with CSC). Managed two major releases and two minor releases from end to end including user research, feature development, and testing with a small team of 3-5 employees. Currently working on NextGen version of the system for release in early 4Q 2019. NextGen is a complete reimagining of the system that leverages my three years of usability research to deliver the most user-centric version of the product ever. Highlights of my previous releases include:- Introduction of email notifications for new positions posted which are now widely adopted by ~80% of all law schools and applicants using the system.- Improvements to position posting capabilities and applicant filtering increased judges’ participation in the system by 10% over the next calendar year, a significant jump over previous years’ involvement.- Developed the “Alternate Graduation Date” feature with coordination of law schools to allow more law school students access to the system and clerkship opportunities. With this new feature, 92 new students were able to register in 2019, generating 340 additional clerkship applications. - Implemented JIRA and Jira Service Desk to enhance customer service and project management, leading to an increase in average customer service rating from 3.5 to 4.5.

Hired to redevelop and redesign the Court/AO Exchange Programs intranet website, a national, high-priority initiative for the federal judiciary. Became Product Manager for the OSCAR system (92,000 users, including ~1,700 federal judges) leveraging skills as an experienced UX and digital project management professional. • Overcame technological and political challenges to develop a fully integrated system to include a content management system and applicant tracking system that allowed for the increase of content sharing and communications to users by almost 70%. • Managed full implementation of new online help feature that reduced help desk calls by approximately 10% compared to the previous year.● Led the most significant site redesign of the OSCAR system to date, including significant look, feel, and functionality improvements that boosted average daily pageviews by ~600,000 (NextGen release will be the most significant redesign in the product’s history when released in 2019).● Conducted product’s first user research by interviewing 30 users across all user types including law clerks, law school students, career services offices, and other attorneys. This research led to a minor software release the following year including the ability to automatically attach letters of recommendation, a feature now used by ~30,000 law schools and recommenders.

Managed all aspects of digital marketing, including PDA’s overall web presence. Led the implementation of a content management system that allowed for increased web content accuracy and greater participation by subject matter experts and departments. Mentored web designer in HTML and CSS and collaborated on a redesign of the PDA web presence and weekly email newsletter, leading to a 3% increase in email subscriptions.
