I have worked in sales for over 10 years, before my first FX role I was a sales team leader in new business sales/cold calling which entailed generating my own leads ,hitting and exceeding revenue targets and recruiting/training new sales staff. This role lead to me being approached by Phil Horner who was the head of AxiTrader Sales at the time (now CEO of Pepperstone.)I have always excelled in stakeholder engagement & loved the concept of “the harder you work the more you earn” and in my view of sales, I like to look at a sales role one of the closest ways an employee can get to running their own business with in a business - My strong skills are sales of course, but more specifically having the emotional intelligence to understand others combined with my self-awareness which makes it easy naturally build rapport and engage within a challenging – highly competitive stringently regulated market.Throughout the years I have learnt a lot from mistakes that myself and others have made. I strongly believe prospects find transparency and honesty very refreshing which I believe is a key to why I get proven results.In my time within FX I learned how to strategically and efficiently acquire clients from $200 per account to multi-million dollar managed funds. I've worked closely with marketing to help find the best marketing medians & campaigns to increase revenue. They viewed sales as their way of keeping their finger on the pulse to gauge (good or bad) the marketing campaigns successes and of course sales would always share ideas with marketing to inform them of clients responses, quality of leads and interest levels from campaigns. Marketing would value our opinion to help them decide what step to take and we would value their skill to generate audiences for us to sell too.My objective has always been to provide the highest & best level of service and to be the broker I would like to trade with myself.
